Yesterday we earned our hiker patch by going on hike!
We have a nice little trail by our library so that's where we went. We had trail mix as a snack and a scavenger hunt too. We were off!
It ended being a beautiful day for a hike.
The girls had fun collecting items on their scavenger hunt. We even found parts of a snake!
The trail was very nice and even had a couple of bridges on it.
The girls thought that every time they saw a bench, it was time to rest.
But we did find a lake and the girls had fun skipping stones.
Eventually we made it back. I think we wore them out!
