This meeting was super fun! Since the weather is kind of unpredictable in the spring, we wanted to work on the gardening patch but we decided to earn this by making fairy gardens! First the girls got to paint their house for it. These were actually wooden birdhouses that were $1.
Then we talked about how to plant flowers. We filled out pots with dirt.
And then the girls planted a flower in their pot.
Then they got to design their gardens by adding their birdhouses, some stones and rocks, and even moss.
I think they turned out pretty cool and the girls seemed super excited about them!
At the end of this meeting, the girls received a bunch of patches that they have earned. So proud of them!
Since we teamed up with my Daisy troop, we did a friendship circle and sang "make new friends."
