World Thinking Day-Part 1

So February 22nd is World Thinking Day for Girl Scouts. It's a day where Girl Scouts all over the world think about each other and how special it is to be part of this great organization.  Our school is going to be holding it's own World Thinking Day in March.  Each troop will learn, present, and have fun while teaching others about Girl Scouts.  Our Brownie troop will be doing France.  First, we let the girls do a little research on the country.

We learned some words in French.

We learned a little bit more about the country while making a booklet.

Then we started making SWAPS.  These are things that girls will get after they come to visit our country.

We are going to fashion Eiffel Towers out of pipe cleaners.

The girls got busy making some right away.

We had to color flags of France too for the SWAP.

We will continue our study at the next meeting.
