Being Honest and Fair!

Our second meeting was held on March 11, 2013. All the girls came with their Daisy tunics adn once again, we posed for a picture. 

 

This meeting we learned and talked about being honest and fair to earn our light blue petal.  We read about Lupe, a flower in the daisy garden and how she was honest and fair.  We then played a game with jellybeans.  Each girl got some jellybeans put in front of them, however not everyone had the same amount.  They had to work in groups to figure out how to make sure everyone got a fair amount.  

 

Once they figured it out, they got a little extra treat!

 

We colored a page about being honest and fair too.

 

Then we played a game that was about being honest and fair.....muscial chairs!  The girls had a blast with this one.

 

We wrapped our meeting by practicing our Girl Scout promise and learning the song "Make new friends."  We also ended it with a friendship squeeze.
