So World Thinking Day is coming up and it's a day every year that
Girl Scouts from around the world think about each other and teach others about Girl Scouting.
This year we were planning on doing our own Wesmere Thinking Day. We also teamed up with my Daisy Troop and decided to teach others about the country of Brazil. One of our teachers is actually from Brazil so we had her stop by to teach us about it.
Her niece is a Girl Scout in Brazil so she made a video to teach us about it.
We learned some neat things and even how to speak Spanish!
Mrs. Basile also taught us about the Brazilian flag too!
Then we tried a dessert from Brazil!
They are basically little chocolate balls covered in sprinkles.
Then we made masks to use as props as we teach the other girls about Brazil. One of the most popular days in Brazil is Carnivale!
We also learned a game that is played in Brazil where you have to try to grab the tag of your partner but you have to do it while standing on one leg with your right arm crossed on your shoulder.
The girls had a lot of fun practicing this!
