Take Action Project and Bronze Award!

So this meeting was a little different. We had to figure out which direction we should head in order to start working on our Bronze Award, which is the highest award a Junior can get! We learned about some programs we could get involved with.
One of them being the Ronald McDonald house.  We could work on collecting pop tabs and work with donating items to help the nearest chapter.

We watched a video about the importance of collecting tabs and why it is done.

Our school does collect and we are taking it over.

So we split up into teams based on what our talents are and what we can contribute to it.  We had 2 teams of artists, one for making posters to display and the other to make containers to decorate to collect the tabs.  We had some actors who are working on putting together a short video on the importance of collecting tabs that the teachers at our school can play for the classes.  We also have a techie group who is busy making a power point on why pop tabs are valuable to collect that can also be shown.

The girls got busy decorating the cans.

Our techie group started working on the power point.

These girls were busy making posters.

And these girls started working on video.

We still have lots of work to do in order to put this plan in action!
